What to look for

Certified Organic

Organic food and products can be recognized by the name or logo of an organic certifier on the label or packaging of the food. Without indication of certification by a recognized organic certifier or accreditation body, products cannot be considered certified organic. It is important to look for certification because a producer may have an organic product but it may not have had any regulations applied to its production or any oversight of a third party to verify it.

Look for one of the labels above to be sure you are purchasing certified organic.
